Do you have a favourite snicket you’d like us to include?
Contributions welcome from within the City of York Council area, as long as it is a snicket and not a misrepresented alley.
We’re talking about the humble snickets out in the suburbs of York.
Snickets, in our definition and for the purposes of this project, are ‘partially vegetated‘, and usually in 20th century housing estates. But not always. Here’s an attempt at clarification.
Tell us a bit about your favourite local snicket, and if it has a name, even if it’s just a name only you call it.
You can:
- Add snickety information (text, poem) via the comments form below
- Tweet your snickety info and photos to @YorkStories with #snicketpoems or #yorksnickets as a hashtag.
